Other Walking/Access for All

Access for All

The Jack Richmond Memorial Park near the railway station in Newtonmore - at the bottom of Station Road.  You can drive to the gate. The park is wheelchair friendly. You can walk around and maybe have a picnic at one of the benches.  Super views of Creag Dhu - the Black Rock.

Loch Imrich

A tiny gem in the heart of Newtonmore.  Wander round and soothe the soul.  If you decide to feed the ducks then remember - please no bread!  The ducks however do like peas.

Glen Banchor

Walk to a ruined shepherd's house in Glen Banchor above Newtonmore.  A beautiful walk on a balmy evening or when the stags are roaring in the gloaming.  You will pass the remains of settlements cleared in the 19th century.
